Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the South Dakota Legislature approved HB1298 that will move the municipal election initially scheduled for April 14, 2020 to a Tuesday in June. The new date and details for Emery's Alderman Ward 3 election are yet to be determined, candidates are Clarissa Weber and Eric Roskens.
