 Friday, February 25th, at 5 PM marked the deadline for filing a petition to run for municipal office. Two individuals have filed petitions for one 2-year Alderman term in Ward 2. A municipal election on Tuesday, April 12, will feature Brad Bartscher and Griffith VanLeur.
The following individuals, having turned in valid petitions with no opponents, will be sworn in when the new council convenes in May:
Mayor Andy Erickson 2 year term
Alderman Ward 1, Paul Nelson 2 year term
Alderman Ward 2, Ryan Storm 1 year term
No petitions were turned in for the council position of Alderman Ward 3, 2 year term. |
