Did you know?
City of Emery Ordinance 4.307 requires the occupant and owner of any premise abutting upon any street to keep all trees standing upon such premises or between the same and the center of the adjoining streets so trimmed that no bough or branch thereof shall hang lower than eight (8) feet above the surface of any sidewalk and fifteen (15) feet above the surface of the street or alley thereon.
This Ordinance also requires that such occupants and owners keep trees trimmed so as not to interfere with any wire, post or equipment of the City or of a public utility installed in the street or alley under franchise or grant from the City. Occupants or owners of properties with offending trees are directed to immediately trim such trees so as to bring them into compliance. Thank you for your cooperation! |
