NOTICE OF VACANCY
MUNICIPALITY OF EMERY
The following offices will become vacant due to the expiration of the present term or due to the resignation of office of the elective officer:
Mayor, 1 year term
Alderman - Ward 1, 2 year term
Alderman - Ward 2, 2 year term
Alderman - Ward 3, 2 year term
Alderman - Ward 3, 1 year term
Circulation of nominating petitions may begin on January 29, 2021, and petitions may be filed in the office of the finance officer located at 560 SD HWY 262, Emery, SD between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., central time Monday - Thursday not later than the 26th day of February, 2021, or mailed by registered mail not later than the 26th day of February, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. central time.
